From September to October 2025, the Donetsk Regional Ecological and Naturalistic Center organized and held a regional competition for young folk craftsmen called "Nature and Creativity."
The event was attended by 768 students and pupils from educational institutions in the region from 33 territorial communities.
The children submitted their original works created using natural materials to the jury for consideration: handicrafts, ikebana, oshibana, panels, ecological sculptures, and interior items. The materials used for creativity included dried plants, seeds, tree bark, stones, shells, moss, wheat ears, pine cones, coffee beans, beans, and much more.
Each work was impressive in its uniqueness, creative approach, and craftsmanship. The participants engaged in a dialogue with nature, showed respect for the materials, shared their thoughts about the future, and expressed their love for their native land.
