This was reported by Vadym Filashkin, Head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration and Chief of the Regional Military Administration.
“Together, we visited educational institutions in the region and inspected the construction of civil protection shelters. We also honored the memory of the fallen Heroes of Ukraine.
At a meeting with community leaders and educators, we discussed the organization of education under martial law. The new academic year in Donetsk region schools will begin online. However, starting September 1, the first offline schools for our students will open in Kyiv, Dnipro, and Perechyn in Zakarpattia region.
At the same time, we are working on relocating educational institutions to safer regions to bring students back to offline learning where possible.
We also focused on ministry and government initiatives aimed at improving working conditions for teachers and ensuring their social guarantees.
I had the honor, together with the Minister, to present awards to the best educators of the region. I thank Mr. Oksen for this visit, for his attention to Donetsk region, and for supporting our educators.
We work together for our Victory and for the future of our children!” emphasized Vadym Filashkin.
