Throughout July and early August 2026, educators at the Donetsk Regional Palace of Children’s and Youth Creativity will be hosting a series of summer events titled “Together for Peace: Support, Trust, a Shared Future.”
The program is organized by the non-governmental organization “IDPs of Ukraine in Khmelnytskyi Region” for children from the Donetsk region and Ukrainian military personnel. The project aims to provide safe and meaningful leisure activities, support the psychological and emotional recovery of young students, create a space of trust, and foster mutual respect between the children and Ukraine’s defenders.
The program of activities combines team-building activities, creative development, and active recreation. Specifically, participants will take part in “Dragon” boat rafting, sports challenges, laser tag, escape rooms, pizza-making workshops, and educational tours of local sites. Working together on these tasks helps bring young people closer together, promotes social adaptation, and fosters communication in a friendly and supportive atmosphere.
