The town of Chasiv Yar stands strong thanks to the courage and heroism of its defenders. The premiere of this film demonstrates once again that the Armed Forces of Ukraine are true titans, defending every inch of their homeland.
Partners of the Chasiv Yar community attended the photo exhibition and premiere of the film “Chasiv Yar: 2 Years of Defense,” created by the 18th Sloviansk Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine, as part of the “Side by Side: United Communities” project.
Representatives from the Yasinya, Myronivka, Uman, and Kremenchuk communities attended the premiere. Also present were representatives of the “Side by Side” project, the leadership of the Bakhmut District, representatives of the Dnipro District State Administration in Kyiv, volunteers, and representatives of charitable foundations—people who know Chasiv Yar, support it, and sincerely care about the city’s fate.
The photo exhibition and film immerse viewers in the reality of war: a city that has suffered terrible destruction, almost completely devastated, yet continues to hold its ground, preventing the enemy from advancing. Every frame depicts pain, loss, struggle, and resilience. It is a truth that moves one to tears and reminds us of the high price of our freedom.
The exhibition powerfully conveys the heroism of Ukrainian soldiers, their strength of spirit, dedication, and love for their homeland.
