A regular meeting of the “Transparency and Accountability” working group was held under the chairmanship of Igor Boiko, Deputy Head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration. The event was attended by members of the working group and invited guests.

During the meeting, participants discussed the status of public procurement carried out by the Sloviansk City Community in 2026.

According to the Department of Economy of the Donetsk Regional State Administration, from April 1 to 9, 2026, regional contracting authorities in eight territorial communities planned 30 procurements of goods, works, and services totaling 62.3 million hryvnias. Of the 30 procurements, 13 contracts for the purchase of goods and services were concluded. Documents were sent to the working group members for review.

Vadym Lyakh, Head of the Sloviansk City Military Administration, reported at the working group meeting on the main areas of fund allocation, the status of completed and planned procurements, as well as the community’s priorities under martial law.

The community head noted that most of the funds were allocated for the construction and repair of roads, repairs to housing and utilities infrastructure, emergency repairs, enhancing defense capabilities, purchasing fuel, anti-drone nets, and other items.

Following the discussion, meeting participants emphasized the need to continue adhering to the principles of openness, transparency, and accountability in the field of public procurement. The working group will continue to monitor procurements being conducted and planned by local communities in the region.
