On the territory of Donetsk region, there are 268 thousand civilian residents remaining.

In Donetsk region, the evacuation of children from dangerous territories is becoming more active. In total, 19,699 children remain living in the territory of Donetsk region.

The progress of evacuation in Donetsk was discussed during a traditional briefing at the Donetsk Regional State Administration with the participation of representatives from the Department of Civil Protection, Mobilization and Defense Work, the Children's Service, and the Department of Social Protection of the Population.

As of mid-July, 268,000 civilians remain living in the territory of Donetsk region under the control of the Ukrainian authorities. In the territory of 18 communities declared as active combat zones, about 22,800 residents live. There are 115 children in this area, of which 110 are in the Lyman community and 5 in the Toretsk community.

According to Dmytro Petlin, head of the operational duty service, communication, notification, and informing the population of the Department of Civil Protection, Mobilization and Defense Work, 1,100 people left their place of residence last week, but only 350 of them evacuated to the border of the region, while the rest moved to other settlements that are safer compared to their towns and villages.

In five settlements where families with children are being forcibly evacuated, 12 children remain. This was reported by Yulia Ryzhakova, head of the Children's Service.

Thus, in the village of Novoselivka in the Lyman community, 1 child remains, in the city of Bilytske in the Dobropillia community – 3 children. In three settlements of the Druzhkivka community, 8 children remain: in the villages of Oleksiyivka-Druzhkivka and Novohryhorivka – three children each, and in Starorayske – 2 children.

Last week, 97 minors were evacuated from the 5 settlements where forced evacuation of families with children is ongoing. From Bilytske, 26 children were evacuated, from Vodyanske in the Dobropillia community – 2 children. From the settlements of the Druzhkivka community, 69 children were evacuated. The most were evacuated from the village of Rayske, where in 10 days since the announcement of the forced evacuation of families with children, all 52 children who remained there were taken out.

According to Dmytro Pozharskyi, head of the Department of Social Services of the Department of Social Protection of the Population, the outflow of people from Dobropillia, Bilytske, and Kostiantynivka has intensified over the past week. During the week, 85 people needed free accommodation, and all of them were provided with free housing in shelters in various regions of Ukraine.
