Every community in Ukraine has service providers that can be useful to veterans and their families, as well as provide assistance to the families of fallen defenders.
These services are provided by:
- local government bodies (departments and divisions for veteran policy, social protection divisions, administrative service centers);
- medical institutions (hospitals, hospitals for veterans, rehabilitation centers);
- employment and education centers (State Employment Service, where you can get career advice and training vouchers; educational institutions participating in retraining programs, where veterans can use these vouchers to improve their qualifications or learn a new profession);
- free legal aid centers, where veterans can receive advice on obtaining status and benefits;
- public and veteran organizations that implement state and international programs.
The Diya app also has a new Veteran PRO section, where the following services are already available:
- Search for a support specialist
- Veterans' sports
- Submitting an application for a subsidy
- Obtaining the status of a person with a war-related disability
- єHome
