As part of the project "Our Donetsk Region. Our home. Our Fortress" project, launched at the initiative of Vadym Filashkin, Head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration and Head of the Regional Military Administration, the first online class of this academic year was held for graduating students of the Toretsk Professional Lyceum and Lyman Vocational School.
The event was held by representatives of the 11th Army Corps: The 30th separate mechanized brigade named after Prince Kostiantyn Ostrozky, the 54th separate mechanized brigade named after Hetman Ivan Mazepa, and the 432nd separate battalion of unmanned systems that are currently defending Donetsk region.
During the meeting, the servicemen spoke about the conditions of service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, training opportunities, career development and social support for the military.
The young people learned how different units work, what specialties are in demand in the army, what is required to enlist under a contract, and what prospects this path opens up.
Similar classes within the project will be held weekly at vocational and professional higher education institutions in Donetsk Oblast to help as many future graduates as possible learn about the prospects for professional development and self-realization in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
