The Pokrovsk Educational and Counseling Center operates in the city of Dnipro on the basis of the relocated Educational and Training Complex No. 1 of the Pokrovsk City Council of the Donetsk region.
On World Children's Day and Children's Protection Day, the center held educational and entertainment events for preschoolers and elementary school students who are internally displaced persons from Donetsk Oblast.
A “Festive Game Room” was organized for preschoolers. Cheerful clowns, played by a teacher and speech therapist from the preschool department of NVC No. 1, engaged the children in active interaction through movement, fun dynamic games, original speech therapy exercises, and developmental tasks.
An exciting quest game called “In Search of Treasure” was organized for elementary school students. The elementary school classroom was transformed into a seashore, where the children-captains set off on a journey following a route map. The young treasure hunters enthusiastically overcame various challenges that required wit and agility. After finding the coveted chest, the children came to the main conclusion: “The real treasure is your friendship, courage, and knowledge!”
"Such meetings, which are constantly organized by teachers of educational institutions of the Pokrovsk community in Dnipro, are important for maintaining the psychological comfort and continuous development of children in Donetsk region. They strengthen the children's friendships, help parents feel the unity of the community, establish social ties, and experience positive emotions," said Lyubov, head of the education department of the Pokrovsk City Council in Donetsk Oblast.
Our task is to preserve the child's right to happiness regardless of circumstances. Even during wartime, childhood should be bright and protected.
