The National Bank of Ukraine has launched a new series of commemorative coins dedicated to Ukraine's unity, indivisibility, and administrative-territorial structure.
"We are strong. We are together" is the main message that the National Bank is engraving on the commemorative coins of the new series. They serve as a reminder that the territorial integrity of the country, as an unshakable principle enshrined in the Constitution of Ukraine, must remain unchanged. Each region of Ukraine has its own history, but we are all united and one," emphasized Andriy Pyshnyy, Governor of the National Bank, when presenting the new coins.
He added that the National Bank plans to continue issuing commemorative coins in this series over the next two years and to dedicate coins to each region of Ukraine. A total of 54 million coins will be put into circulation in this series.
This was reported by the National Bank of Ukraine.
On December 1, 2025, the first three commemorative coins from the new series were put into circulation, dedicated to the regions that were the first to find themselves at the epicenter of Russian aggression:
"We are strong. We are together. Autonomous Republic of Crimea";
"We are strong. We are together. Donetsk region";
"We are strong. We are together. Luhansk region."
The coins have a face value of 10 hryvnia and are made of a zinc-based alloy with a nickel coating. The main element on the reverse of these coins is a stylized map of Ukraine with clearly defined administrative boundaries and an image of the region to which the coin is dedicated.
These coins are legal tender in Ukraine and are accepted by all individuals and legal entities without any restrictions throughout Ukraine for all types of payments, as well as for crediting accounts, deposits, letters of credit, and for performing payment transactions.
