On January 22, 2026, the Department of Family, Youth, and Mass Events of National Patriotic Education of the Regional State Administration, together with the Center for Unity and National Resistance platform of Donetsk Oblast, held a meeting with representatives of the military administrations of Donetsk Oblast, which have relocated communal facilities, institutions, hubs, and IDP support centers in Kropyvnytskyi.
The meeting was attended by specialists from the regional state administration, deputy heads of military administrations, heads of relevant departments, as well as representatives of the Kirovohrad Regional Center for Training Citizens for National Resistance.
The main topic of discussion was the formation of groups of Donetsk region residents temporarily residing in Kropyvnytskyi to undergo training at the Kirovohrad Regional Center for Training Citizens for National Resistance. The meeting participants discussed in detail the organizational aspects of recruitment, training conditions, and programs, which include acquiring basic skills in national resistance, civil security, first aid, and psychological resilience.
The meeting participants also discussed ways to more actively involve residents of Donetsk region in such initiatives. Mechanisms for cooperation between military administrations, IDP support centers, and the Kirovohrad Regional Center for National Resistance were identified so that as many displaced persons as possible could acquire the necessary knowledge and skills.
This meeting was another important step in strengthening unity between regions and strengthening the national resistance system. The joint work of the Kirovohrad and Donetsk regions demonstrates that even in wartime, Ukrainians remain united and ready to defend their country.
The Donetsk Regional State Administration aims to organize work with all regions of Ukraine to prepare the population for national resistance, as such training provides life-saving skills.
