The updated mechanism for participating in the national program is now in effect. You can now apply for the 40+ Health Screening at a time that’s convenient for you, without having to wait 30 days after your birthday. This was announced by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.
What has changed?
The requirement to wait until your birthday has been removed. If you are 40 years old or older, you can apply right now through the Diya app or register for the service at a Public Service Center.
Fund usage period. After the funds are credited to a special account, the participant has 2 months to pay for the screening service. If the funds are not used during this time, they will automatically be returned to the state budget.
Important: People who received the funds by May 1, 2026, can use them until June 30 of this year.
As a reminder, Health Screening 40+ is a national program for Ukrainians aged 40 and older. It provides basic examinations for the early detection and timely management of cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, and mental health issues.
The national program continues to gain momentum. Since its launch, over 55,000 Ukrainians have undergone screening, and more than 500,000 people have applied to participate. Currently, you can undergo screening at 2,050 service locations in medical facilities across the country.
