Nikita Lytvyn, a student at Lyceum #2 of the Pokrovsk City Council in Donetsk Oblast, won a gold medal at the International Innovation Show INOVA 2025 in Zagreb, Croatia.

His project, "Application of microcontroller platforms for personal time management," was highly praised by the international jury and received a gold award. This recognition is the result of the young inventor's talent and fruitful work with his supervisors Daria Lytvyn and Vladyslav Lebediev, who supported and developed his ideas.

INOVA is one of the oldest invention exhibitions in the world, which has been bringing together young researchers from different continents every year since 1971. For more than half a century, it has become a space for presenting innovative products, technical solutions and bold ideas of the younger generation.

This year, participants from 25 countries presented 401 projects in Zagreb. The Ukrainian team showed an incredible result - all 15 participants won gold medals.

"For us, the most valuable thing is not only that all the participants won gold medals, but also that they believed in themselves. INOVA has become a space for Ukrainian schoolchildren where their dreams and projects have received worthy recognition and the opportunity to feel part of a large international community of inventors," said Stanislav Dovgyi, President of the IASC.

"Nikita Lytvyn's victory at INOVA 2025 is a pride for Donetsk region and a clear confirmation that Ukrainian youth has a strong innovative potential that should be supported and developed.
