The admission campaign to higher education institutions is nearly complete, and the Donetsk Regional Employment Service is summing up the results of issuing training vouchers. As of today, 1,166 vouchers have been issued, more than 900 of them for obtaining education or advanced training at higher education institutions.
The most in-demand fields among employment service clients were:
Psychology – 260 vouchers (chosen by hub specialists, teachers, combatants, and former prisoners of war).
Public administration – 165 vouchers (mainly for employees of government agencies).
In addition, more than 200 educators used the opportunity to gain a new qualification or upgrade their skills, and over 170 medical workers improved their knowledge or changed specialization. Other popular fields included physical education and sports, computer science, management, marketing, and design.
Behind each voucher is the story of a person who took a step toward new opportunities.
One such story is Ms. Kseniia, a history teacher who had long dreamed of studying psychology. After learning about the voucher program, she turned to the employment service. Today she is studying at H.S. Skovoroda Kharkiv National Pedagogical University. For her, the voucher became not only financial support but also a chance to fulfill her dream and open a new professional path.
Another example is Mariya, a displaced person from Kurakhove, now living in Kramatorsk. She holds a master’s degree in urban construction and has work experience in land resources, currently employed at the Kurakhove City Council. Mariya decided to pursue a second degree in Public Administration at Mariupol State University. This was an important step in her professional development.
