A new job after relocation: how the employment service helps restore a professional path

Published 30 March 2026 year, 15:30

Before the full-scale war, Yuliia Zavhorodnia worked as a junior nurse. After evacuating from Donetsk region to Dnipro, she was temporarily out of work and later resigned. While searching for a new job, she turned to the employment service for support.

Specialists helped her prepare a resume, organized her job search, provided консультації (consultations), selected suitable vacancies, and ensured communication with employers.

Among the job opportunities was a position at Outpatient Clinic No. 9 of the Municipal Non-Commercial Enterprise “Primary Health Care Center” of Toretsk, which had been relocated to Dnipro. The facility was looking for staff for positions such as a ward supervisor and a junior nurse.

Employment service specialists arranged an online interview with the employer. Yuliia successfully passed it and was hired.

“I understand very well people who find themselves in difficult life circumstances. Sometimes they need not only medical care, but also simple human warmth, support, and a kind word,” Yuliia says.

For her, this is not just a job, but an opportunity to return to a profession where she has experience and strong inner motivation. In conditions of displacement and adaptation, this is critically important.
