On March 30, a meeting was held with family members of fallen (deceased) Defenders of Ukraine and families of servicemen missing in action under special circumstances from the Cherkasy settlement territorial community, with the participation of representatives from the regional state administration’s department for veteran policy.
During the meeting, the following issues were discussed:
- the status of veteran policy implementation in the Cherkasy territorial community;
- additional social guarantees provided at the expense of the local budget;
- social guarantees provided at the national and regional levels.
The meeting participants discussed problematic issues and possible solutions, which will serve as the basis for further improvement of the support system.
