On December 16, 2025, a working meeting was held between specialists from the regional administration's Department of Family, Youth, and Mass Events of National-Patriotic Education and representatives of the Podilsko-Volyn Sich, a well-known military-patriotic camp located on the border of the Ternopil and Khmelnytsky regions.

The purpose of the meeting was to discuss opportunities for cooperation and develop joint initiatives aimed at strengthening the patriotic spirit among the youth of Donetsk region, especially in the context of the ongoing struggle for Ukraine's independence.

Podilsko-Volyn Sich, founded as a tent camp for young people, has served as a platform for educating a generation of patriots for many years. The camp is known for its programs that combine elements of Cossack traditions, military training, physical development, and historical education. Participants learn self-defense and teamwork skills, as well as the history of Ukraine, making it an ideal place for training.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the creation of new partnerships between the Donetsk Regional State Administration and the organizers of the Sich. In particular, agreements were reached on the exchange of experience in the field of military-patriotic education. Representatives of Sich, including experienced instructors and organizers, emphasized the importance of such partnerships for regions affected by the war.

Special attention was paid to plans for the summer of 2026. There are plans to hold special military-patriotic training at the Podillia-Volyn Sich base specifically for young people from Donetsk Oblast.

This meeting is part of a broader strategy to support young people in conditions of martial law. New partnerships with the Podillia-Volyn Sich open the door to similar projects with other regions, promoting national unity. The meeting participants expressed optimism about future cooperation and called on the youth of Donetsk region to actively participate in such initiatives.
