A regular meeting of the “Transparency and Accountability” working group was held under the chairmanship of Igor Boiko, Deputy Head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration. Members of the working group and invited guests participated in the event.
During the meeting, participants discussed the status of public procurement in 2026 carried out by the Novodonetsk settlement community.
According to information from the regional state administration’s Department of Economy, for the period from June 4 to 11, 2026, regional contracting authorities across 9 territorial communities planned 21 procurements of goods, works, and services totaling 84.7 million UAH.
Of the 21 procurements, 5 contracts were signed for the purchase of body armor, electricity, gasoline, and diesel fuel, as well as for major repairs (emergency restoration work) on the roof of a residential building on Polikarp Marapulets Street in Sloviansk (to address the consequences of the Russian Federation’s armed aggression).
According to information from the regional state administration’s Department of Economy, 13 procurements of goods and services totaling 18.5 million UAH are planned for the Novodonetsk settlement territorial community for the period from January 1 to June 17, 2026.
Yuriy Lyulka, head of the Novodonetsk Settlement Military Administration, reported on the main areas of fund allocation, the status of completed and planned procurements, as well as the community’s priorities under martial law, with the main expenditures related to the procurement of fuel, utilities, and construction materials.
Following the discussion, meeting participants emphasized the need to continue adhering to the principles of openness, transparency, and accountability in the field of public procurement. The working group will continue to monitor procurements being conducted and planned by the region’s local communities.
