The Novohrodivka community continues to develop its strategic partnership with the Kalush community as part of the “Side by Side: United Communities” project.
During a working meeting, Olga Sidorova, Deputy Head of the International Cooperation Department, and Andriy Naida, Mayor of Kalush, discussed the implementation of international cluster cooperation.
The partnership between Novohrodivka and Kalush has been ongoing since 2016. At the end of last year, the communities took their relationship to a new level by signing a memorandum within the framework of the “Side by Side: United Communities” project.
The updated cooperation format involves joint project activities to attract international grants to support displaced persons and rebuild human capital, the implementation of a cluster model in accordance with the recommendations of the Ministry of Community and Territorial Development to create network connections between communities in the rear, frontline areas, and foreign partners, as well as active advocacy for joint initiatives on international platforms.
Following the meeting, the parties agreed on further steps to involve international partners in a joint “resilience chain.”
