Kalush became the first sister community with which Novohrodivka signed a memorandum within the framework of the Side by Side: United Communities project.
On December 15, 2025, the cooperation agreement was signed by Olga Sidorova, deputy head of the Novohrodivka Municipal Council, and Andriy Naida, mayor of Kalush.
This is an extremely important day for the Novohrodivka community. Although the twinning with Kalush has been ongoing since 2016, real support and unity began in 2022.
"I am sincerely glad that Kalush became the first community with which we signed this document as part of the fourth wave of the project. This is not just a formal cooperation, it is an example of genuine human warmth that we feel every time, especially when our children come to you for rehabilitation," commented Olga Sidorova.
The memorandum sets out the priorities for joint work to support the residents of Novogrodivka, social projects, and strengthening ties between communities.
