The "You Are in Ukraine" platform is now available in the Crimean Tatar language

As part of the Dovidka.Info project, the Center for Strategic Communications and Information Security has created a useful project for residents of the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine – the You Are in Ukraine service.

This project is being implemented in cooperation with the Yellow Ribbon civil resistance movement in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.

"You Are in Ukraine" is a service for residents of temporarily occupied territories who are deprived of the opportunity to receive information from Ukraine.

The service offers a set of tools to stay connected and safe:

  • free and secure VPNs and browsers to read Ukrainian and avoid surveillance;
  • instructions on how to behave during searches and interrogations and how to protect yourself from forced passportization;
  • advice on first aid and digital security;
  • materials for informational resistance;
  • Ukrainian language courses for children and adults.

More than 2,000 residents of the temporarily occupied territories have already connected to free and reliable VPNs from the "You Are in Ukraine" platform and can now safely use the internet.

Thanks to the work of the "You Are in Ukraine" project team, more than 250 children and adults are learning Ukrainian. Most of the applications come from Simferopol, Yevpatoria, and other Crimean cities.

Since December 15, the platform has been available in two languages: Ukrainian and Crimean Tatar.

У Криму живуть люди, які чекають на зв’язок з Україною. І кожен із нас може допомогти їм цей зв’язок зберегти.
