Ihor is a combat veteran who, with the support of the Employment Service, was able to find a job and successfully return to civilian life.
He holds a qualification as a vehicle repair mechanic, but for many years worked as a driver, gaining extensive professional experience.
After the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion, Ihor joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine. For two years, he defended the independence and territorial integrity of the country. However, in 2024, due to injuries sustained during service, he was forced to leave the military.
Following his recovery, Ihor turned to the Employment Service for assistance in finding work. He was immediately offered case management support. Together with a career advisor, he carefully reviewed employment opportunities and current job openings.
Ihor chose a vacancy for a motor vehicle driver at LLC “Prokom Miskbud Project.” After an interview, the employer offered him an internship to help him adapt to the company’s work environment and requirements. As a result, at the beginning of June, he was officially employed and is now successfully performing his duties while continuing his professional development.
The employer, in turn, plans to take advantage of state employment programs that provide compensation for hiring veterans.
