When the war came to Lyman, Natalia and her colleagues at Donetskoblgaz stayed at work as long as possible.
When the Ukrainian Armed Forces liberated the city, Natalia was one of the first to return to her hometown. What she saw was hard to describe in words: ruins of hospitals, kindergartens, destroyed infrastructure, people without electricity, water, gas and medicine. But instead of despair, she chose action.
Together with the Donetskoblgaz team, Natalia began to restore the gas networks. She mastered new skills, supported her colleagues and became one of those who brought life back to the city every day despite the danger.
Thanks to her perseverance and courage, gas was restored to the homes of the people of Lyman in the fall of 2022.
Today, Natalia goes to work every day in Lyman and is an indispensable part of the team that is fighting to restore the city and return basic living conditions to the people.
