On October 14, Acting Director of the Donetsk Regional Employment Center Nataliia Adamova held a working meeting with entrepreneur Maksym Sidich, a participant in the eRobota grant program under the Own Business initiative.

Maksym is an entrepreneur from Sloviansk who has always been passionate about modeling. His dream is to turn ideas into real objects through 3D printing. To do that, of course, he needed specialized equipment. That’s why he decided to take advantage of the opportunity offered by the Own Business state program and applied for support through the Employment Service.

Specialists provided Maksym with informational and consulting assistance — explaining the participation requirements, the steps of the application process, and how to prepare a business plan. The result came quickly: in May 2025, Maksym became a grant program winner.

He used the funds to purchase a 3D printer, which opened up new possibilities for him. Today, the entrepreneur produces souvenirs, toys, decorative elements, and other custom-made plastic items. His products stand out for their precision, quality, and personalized approach.

“3D printing allows you to create things you won’t find in regular stores. It’s a space for creativity and growth — and, most importantly, proof that ideas can become your life’s work,” says Maksym.

The eRobota program continues to help people bring their ideas to life, create unique products, and contribute to the development of the local economy.

“We can see how grant support helps people start new businesses, even those taking their very first steps in entrepreneurship. Such examples are inspiring and show that the state is ready to support active and motivated individuals,” noted Nataliia Adamova.

Maksym is convinced that with determination, persistence, and support, no idea will remain just on paper.
