Olha Kunytska - participant of the regional contest "Woman of Donetsk Region" in 2025, nomination "Caring Heart"
Olga Kunitska represents the Druzhkivka City Territorial Community. Her life is an example of selfless work, professionalism, care and strength. She gave her heart to the people of Donetsk Oblast. She is a doctor with 35 years of experience, a teacher, a scientist, a manager, a public figure.
Treating patients with infectious diseases, caring for patients of the regional perinatal center in Kramatorsk, taking care of our defenders in the department since the beginning of the full-scale invasion - this is the work for which our heroine was awarded diplomas from the Department of Health of the Donetsk Regional State Administration, Druzhkovka City Council, military administration, and the gratitude of the command of the 5th separate Kyiv assault brigade.
Olga is the winner of the clinical consultation of the IV International Congress "From Birth to Maturity". During the pandemic, she became a trainer on COVID-19 for doctors in Donetsk Oblast. She is a lecturer at the Department of Epidemiology and Infectious Diseases at Donetsk National Medical University, has 6 publications and 2 patents.
Our heroine's life credo is to help as much as possible, never stand still, learn on her own and share her knowledge and experience. Leadership schools, internships at leading clinics in Europe and Turkey. She has obtained medical degrees in Healthcare Organization and Management and Epidemiology. Olga holds a Master's degree in Public Administration and Management and a Master's degree in Pedagogy.
Olga Kunytska is an example of how one person can change the system. As a coordinator of the UNDP advisory group, she started implementing healthcare reform in Donetsk Oblast. She engages international and civil society organizations to support the city's hospitals.
She signed memorandums, created a modern women's health space in Druzhkivka in peacetime, supported the work of the Humanitarian Medical Center in wartime, and is the guardian of the department. She is not only a doctor, she is a system leader, not only a specialist, but a symbol of trust. Whenever confidence and results are needed, her name is always called. The story of her life is a story of victory. That is why Olga deserves to become the Woman of Donetsk Region 2025 in the Caring Heart nomination.
