On October 7, 2025, the III Congress of Women of Donetsk Region "From the challenges of today to the vision of the future" will be held in Kyiv - a platform of strength, trust and strategic vision, organized by the Donetsk Regional State Administration, the Smarta public organization and the 1325 Donetsk Coalition with the technical support of UN Women in Ukraine and funding from the Governments of Sweden and Denmark.
The event will be attended by representatives of active women of Donetsk Region, representatives of the Government of Ukraine, regional and local authorities of Donetsk Region, the security and defense sector, Ukrainian and international politicians, business and donor organizations, and the media.
They will talk about the implementation of the 1325 regional action plan, women's leadership in wartime, reconstruction of the region and the vision of the future. The program includes panel discussions, working groups, a presentation of the network of displaced women “Ambassadors of Peaceful Change” and an interactive “Voice of Women of Donetsk Region”.
