Liana Dzhebzheniak - participant of the regional competition "Woman of Donetsk Region" in 2025, nomination "Creator of Changes and Opportunities"
Liana Dzhebzheniak, a physical education teacher at Novohrodiv Secondary School No. 7 of the Novohrodiv City Council of Donetsk Oblast, is an innovator and organizer of sports and educational projects.
She is a teacher who not only teaches children but also brings them up to be strong, healthy, and patriotic Ukrainians. She has organized numerous sports and patriotic events, including the regional flash mob "Thanks to You!" and the online competition "Together to Victory with Faith in the Armed Forces".
Her students participate in national competitions, international events such as MOVE Week, BeActiveDay, and the European School Sports Day. Together with her students, Liana set the National Record of Ukraine in the largest all-Ukrainian online flash mob dedicated to the Mental Health Day.
Liana Dzhebzheniak is a coach of the Ukrainian Federation "Sport for Development" in the All-Ukrainian project "United Ukraine" within the framework of the UNICEF program "Together to Learn", a member of the creative group of teachers "UNITED UKRAINE" (integration and adaptation of children and parents/guardians among internally displaced persons (IDPs) and children with special educational needs into local communities through physical education and sports using the concept of "Sport for Development", a member of the regional creative group "Monitoring of Physical Development of Students", the International Exhibition "Modern Educational Institutions" in the nomination "Reforms in Education - Healthy and Active Children and Youth".
Liana's activities are aimed not only at improving the quality of education, but also at developing children's and youth sports, introducing innovations into the educational process, and raising a generation that is growing up healthy, active, and conscious, a new generation of Ukrainians strong in spirit and body.
Her story is an example of tireless work, creative search, professional skills and true service to children and her native land, an example of dedication and faith in our victory!
