This is not the first time that the Siversk City Military Administration, together with the staff of the Centralized Library System, has joined the regional initiative #Give_a_Book_to_a_Defender, launched by the Donetsk Regional State Administration.
On the eve of the Day of Defenders, the community collected and delivered another batch of books to our soldiers in the cities of Dnipro, Kyiv and Kryvyi Rih.
"We are consciously continuing this good deed because a book for a defender is more than just reading. It is an opportunity to escape from daily stress, to find inspiration in the lines of favorite authors, to feel spiritual support and warmth of home," the organizers noted. - "We want our soldiers to know that the community is always there for them. Each book is another confirmation of our gratitude, love and support," the organizers said.
"Residents of the Siverska community actively respond to the call and bring both contemporary Ukrainian literature and classics. All this is to make our defenders feel that they are remembered and appreciated.
The campaign continues, and we encourage everyone to join in. Together we can give our heroes not only books, but also faith, hope and strength to move towards victory.
