Angelina Skachko - participant of the regional competition "Woman of Donetsk Region" in 2025, nomination "Power of Good and Unity"
Born in Kramatorsk, Angelina has heard her grandmother's words since childhood: "You will become a guardian angel for people." And today they have become a reality - her life is filled with service to others.
She is a modern woman leader, director of Zlahoda, an enterprise for people with disabilities, and international project manager. Her specialty is her ability to see the individuality in everyone, to support and inspire. Her family, where her grandmother with a disability and her mother, who runs a rehabilitation center, are examples of strength and empathy, has shaped her ability to understand other people's pain and act.
When she was a student, she started inclusive ballroom dancing in Kramatorsk, proving that inclusion is not a slogan but an opportunity. Her initiative gave impetus to the development of the Paralympic sports dance movement in the region.
Angelina's professional career includes dozens of implemented international social and humanitarian projects: development of inclusive and digital education, assistance to children and youth, support for internally displaced people, and expanding access to social services.
It did not stop when the war started. On the contrary, it has become a driving force that unites communities, helps the most vulnerable and supports the military. It organizes humanitarian aid, engages in volunteering, and does everything possible for Ukraine's victory.
Angelina is convinced that unity and mutual support can overcome any difficulties. Her story is an example of the power of goodness, which manifests itself in both large projects and small everyday actions: a word of support, an outstretched hand, a sincere desire to change the world for the better.
This is what makes her a worthy nominee in the Power of Good and Unity category.
