The regional training program "Cadets' Shield," organized by the Department of Family, Youth, and Mass Events of National Patriotic Education of the Regional State Administration in cooperation with Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs (DonSUIA), successfully accomplished its mission.
The event, which took place in the Kirovohrad region, aimed to promote military and law enforcement professions, encourage young people to enroll in higher education institutions in the Donetsk region, which are currently operating in relocation, and foster a conscious readiness to serve the Motherland.
During four busy days, the young men and women were fully immersed in the life of cadets. The training program was as practical and relevant as possible: UAV control, shooting in a multimedia shooting range, and drill training. In addition, interactive career guidance events were held, where young people learned that service in law enforcement agencies is not only about arresting offenders, but also a complex and at the same time interesting system where there is a place for everyone.
In addition to intensive training, participants had the opportunity to get acquainted with the city that welcomed them. An excursion to Kropyvnytskyi allowed them to experience the atmosphere of the region.
The training ended with a solemn evening gathering, where cadets had the opportunity to exchange impressions and ask questions to active officers and veterans who shared their invaluable experience of service.
The successful combination of intensive practical skills and deep immersion in the cadet environment of DonDUVS not only strengthened patriotic education but also provided a clear career guidance vector. The training demonstrated that future personnel for ensuring law and order and security in the region are being trained in relocated institutions in Donetsk Oblast.
Such projects are critically important for preserving the educational potential of the region and forming a conscious, service-ready Generation of Strength that will return to rebuild.
