Within the framework of the third wave of the national project "Side by Side: Cohesive Communities", the first meeting and signing of the Memorandum of Cooperation between the Verkhivtseve city and Ocheretyne settlement communities took place in Verkhivtseve, Dnipro Oblast.
Mykola Kovalenko, Head of the Ocheretynske Settlement Military Administration, together with Mykhailo Svitlyk, Head of the Verkhivtseve Community, and employees of the administrations of both communities visited the Alley of Glory in the town square and paid tribute to the fallen defenders of the Verkhivtseve community with a minute of silence and laying flowers to the memorial plates.
Afterwards, our delegation was given a tour of the city and shown the social facilities of the community. Together with our partners, we discussed areas of future cooperation and joint initiatives.
The meeting was held in an extremely friendly and warm atmosphere and became a symbol of unity, cohesion and readiness for support. The "Side by Side: Cohesive Communities" project opens up new opportunities for the Ocheretyne community to implement social, cultural and other initiatives and share experiences.
