On May 20, 2026, the “Energy of Shared Growth” forum was held at the Humanitarian Hub of the Ocheretine Settlement Community in Kamyanske, with the participation of partner communities: the Kotelev Community in Poltava Oblast, the Starobohorodchany Community in Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast, and the Verkhivtsi Community in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.

The event was attended by community leaders, representatives from the educational, cultural, youth, and social sectors, as well as residents and students from the communities.

Forum participants discussed the Ocheretine community’s best practices, the development of project management, and the creation of new initiatives to overcome barriers in physical, educational, digital, and social environments.

At the educational venue, the community presented the “Energy of Partnership” project, the work of the student media space “ZMINA,” the “Creative Fourth” startup to help students adapt to middle school, and a new local history project titled “The Cultural and Historical Tapestry of the Steppe Region.”

During the discussion on culture, participants were introduced to initiatives from the “Intangible Heritage of Donetsk Region” project, aimed at preserving the region’s traditions, rituals, and cultural identity.

At the “Sports, Energy, Resilience” session, participants discussed the development of youth spaces, support for sports initiatives, and partnerships with the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine and the State Tax University. The community’s receipt of the “Sports Community of the Year” award at the “Sports Constellation of Donetsk Region” ceremony was also highlighted.

The “Colors of Care” session was dedicated to supporting veterans, humanitarian programs, improving the health of community residents, and implementing the social projects “Wings of Support,” “New Year’s Miracle of Donetsk Region,” and “St. Nicholas’s Reindeer.”

The forum served as a platform for exchanging experiences, strengthening cooperation, and developing new joint initiatives among communities in Ukraine.
