The Czech humanitarian organization "People in Need," with financial support from the American people under the project "TRUST," has announced a competition for micro-grants to restore displaced and local businesses affected by military actions.
Micro and small enterprises that are conducting or planning to conduct activities in the Lviv and Ivano-Frankivsk regions and designated communities in the Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Mykolaiv, and Kherson regions are invited to participate in the competition.
Priority is given to:
- relocated businesses and internally displaced persons;
- enterprises led by women;
- socially oriented businesses;
- enterprises that employ individuals from vulnerable groups.
Important: the project does not support agricultural enterprises, the defense industry, as well as the production of alcohol and tobacco products.
Grant funds can be used for asset restoration, job creation, salaries (up to 30% of the grant amount), rent, equipment and raw material purchases (up to 30% of the grant amount), marketing, and other activities to implement the business idea.
Up to 1000 USD — for micro and small enterprises with up to 1 employee, as well as for individuals implementing a business idea.
Up to 5000 USD — for micro and small enterprises with 2 to 50 employees.
Payments will be made in the hryvnia equivalent at the official NBU exchange rate.
The project includes financial support for business recovery; mandatory business training (20 hours); mentoring support from experienced experts; psychological support for grant recipients and their families; individual consultations (up to 3 hours).
