From September 5 to 8, the city of Casablanca hosted a stage of the World Beach Wrestling Series, which brought together more than 150 participants from 15 countries.
Donetsk region was represented by Oleksandr Veresiuk, a scholarship holder of the Donetsk Regional State Administration and a representative of the Bakhmut community.
Oleksandr won a bronze medal in the 90+ kg weight category among adults, having fought five intense bouts against rivals from the United States, Morocco, and Kenya.
The athlete was helped to achieve this result by his mentors, Oleg Reva and Olga Mytnyk.
