Payment for the child patronage service and related expenditures, including payment of the Unified Social Contribution (USC) for the patronage caregiver under the state social insurance system, is provided for the following:
▫ Social assistance for supporting a child placed in a patronage caregiver’s family, which includes temporary care, upbringing, and rehabilitation;
▫ Social assistance for the maintenance of a child in the patronage caregiver’s family;
▫ Payment of the Unified Social Contribution for the patronage caregiver (according to Article 252 of the Family Code of Ukraine and Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 893 dated August 20, 2021 "Certain Issues of Child Rights Protection and Provision of Child Patronage Services").
🔷 Additional Conditions / Specific Features
🔹 Patronage service is provided to a child who temporarily cannot reside with their parents or legal guardians due to difficult life circumstances.
🔹 The patronage caregiver operates on the basis of a contract concluded with the guardianship and custody authority.
🔹 The patronage caregiver is subject to mandatory state social insurance.
🔹 The USC for the patronage caregiver is paid from the state budget.
Amount of Assistance
▫ Payment for the patronage caregiver’s service — 5 subsistence minimums for a working-age person per full calendar month. If the service is provided for a partial month, payment is made proportionally to the number of days the child stayed with the family.
▫ Social assistance for the maintenance of the child — 2.5 subsistence minimums for a child of the corresponding age per month. For children with disabilities — 3.5 subsistence minimums per month.
▫ Payment of the USC — carried out by the state for the patronage caregiver in accordance with the amount established by law, based on the service remuneration.

▫ Contract for the provision of child patronage services signed with the guardianship authority;
▫ Act on the placement of the child in the patronage caregiver’s family;
▫ Decision of the guardianship and custody authority on child placement and appointment of the patronage caregiver;
▫ Taxpayer registration card number (RNOKPP);
▫ Bank details for fund transfer.
