Support centers for internally displaced persons, established in Khmelnytskyi region, continue their work, remaining a reliable support for those who have found themselves in difficult life circumstances due to the war.

The cultural space of the Toretsk community, which has been operating in Khmelnytskyi since September 2022, today unites more than a thousand displaced persons, including 46 children.

The main focus of the space is on cultural and artistic events and entertainment activities. Consultations on social, medical, and pension issues are also provided, and a family medicine doctor is available for consultations.

The space hosts an art club called "Magic Brush," and events are held for emotional unloading and better adaptation to the new environment.

An important center for comprehensive support is the "I am Mariupol" Center, which began its activities in June 2022. Currently, more than 2,200 displaced persons are receiving assistance here, including 667 children. In just the first five months of 2025, over 2,500 food packages, 100 non-food items, and more than 300 medical units have been distributed.

The center provides a wide range of services: humanitarian, medical, legal, psychological, and social assistance, as well as services of a recruiter, dentist, hairdresser, doctor, and laundry. There are rooms for mothers and children, and various cultural and educational events take place. Administrators assist with document processing, certificates, and provide consultations on the state program eRecovery and other issues.

Support centers for Donetsk residents are a point of support where displaced persons can find understanding, support, and inspiration to move forward. At a time when millions of Ukrainians are forced to change their lives, such spaces become symbols of unity, strength, and humanity.
