Chasiv Yar and Uman are partner cities in the “Side by Side: United Communities” project. Educational institutions in the two communities actively exchange experiences and best practices.
The participants in the latest meeting were teachers from Uman Gymnasium No. 10 of the Uman City Council in Cherkasy Oblast and teachers from the base institution of general secondary education (grades 1–3) No. 17 in Chasiv Yar.
As part of the collaboration, a video conference was held between educators from Chasiv Yar and Uman on the topic: “Modern Approaches and Health-Promoting Technologies in the New Ukrainian School.”
Teachers from Gymnasium No. 10 shared their experience in implementing modern educational approaches and health-promoting technologies in the New Ukrainian School and presented effective teaching methods aimed at creating a safe, comfortable, and motivating educational environment for children.
During the teleconference, special attention was paid to issues of preserving the physical and psycho-emotional health of students, fostering healthy lifestyle habits, and utilizing interactive forms and methods of instruction.
Cooperation among educators once again proves that community unity, mutual support, and the exchange of experience are an important step toward a strong future for Ukraine. A symbolic continuation of this partnership was the friendly interaction between community children’s councils, as children are the future of our country.
