In the 23.2 km individual time trial, Yehor placed fourth among 20 participants, falling just half a second short of the bronze medalist from the Netherlands.
Together with his father and coach, Viktor Dementiev, Yehor has represented Ukraine at the highest level for many years: 5 gold, 3 silver, and 1 bronze medal across four Paralympic Games, along with numerous World Championship titles. Ahead lies his new goal — the 2028 Games in Los Angeles.
