Six athletes from Mangush, Druzhkivka, and Kramatorsk stepped onto the podium. Gold in the triathlon was claimed by Mykola Hodunov (up to 105 kg, sub-juniors), Vasyl Zbandut (up to 93 kg, juniors), and Davyd Rubets (up to 105 kg, juniors). Silver was won by Veronika Bordyug (up to 69 kg, juniors) and Oleksii Lysenko (up to 120 kg, juniors). Bronze went to Yevhenii Matiieshyn (up to 74 kg, juniors).
Including small medals, our athletes secured 11 gold, 7 silver, and 4 bronze medals. Thanks to these results, Team Ukraine won the team classification among juniors and took second place among sub-juniors.
Mykola Hodunov and Vasyl Zbandut set world records in squats and placed second in the overall standings, while Veronika Bordyug won among junior women under the IPF formula.
