On August 29, 2025, the Head of the Main Directorate of the Pension Fund of Ukraine in Donetsk region, Nataliia Rad, held a briefing on current issues of social payments in Donetsk region.
Participants were informed about the procedure for physical identification of payment recipients in accordance with the procedure approved by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated 11.02.2025 No. 299, namely the payment of pensions and insurance benefits to persons who:
▫ live in temporarily occupied territories;
▫ left the temporarily occupied territories and reside in the government-controlled territory of Ukraine;
▫ are temporarily abroad.
📌 A step-by-step algorithm for identification was provided, as well as instructions on reporting non-receipt of pensions/insurance payments from the Russian Federation.
✔ It was also reported that the functions of the Pension Fund of Ukraine have been expanded to include services previously provided by the social protection authorities, namely the provision of social payments to people who, due to military actions, found themselves abroad or in temporarily occupied territories.
