This was reported by Vadym Filashkin, Head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration and Chief of the Regional Military Administration.

“With great joy, I visited the First Kramatorsk Lyceum, which reopened in Perechyn, Zakarpattia.

The lyceum enrolled 20 classes, which will be attended not only by children from Kramatorsk, but also by displaced students from other communities and regions, as well as local children: some will study in person, and others — remotely.

I congratulated the students, parents, and teachers on the start of the school year and wished them to gain deep knowledge that will be useful in the future recovery of Donetsk region.

I thank my Zakarpattia colleague Myroslav Biletskyi, the head of the national project ‘Side by Side: United Communities’ Maryana Tomyn, and everyone who contributed to relocating the lyceum, so that our children can finally study offline again.

In addition, Mariupol schools No. 48 and No. 66 reopened in Kyiv, and Pokrovsk School No. 1 — in Dnipro.

I sincerely wish for all of us to return home — to our native Donetsk region, under a peaceful Ukrainian sky,” emphasized Vadym Filashkin.
