From October 1, 2025, to January 16, 2026, the Donetsk Youth Palace "Yunist" organized a remote multi-genre arts festival and competition called "Pedagogical Pearls of Donetsk Region."
Teachers from different cities and communities in the region took part in the competition. A total of 200 works and performances from 71 educational institutions were submitted to the competition, and more than 4,000 participants voted in the audience vote.
The festival brought together seven areas: vocals, choreography, instrumental and theatrical genres, spoken word, fine arts, and decorative and applied arts. Teachers sang and danced, played instruments and staged theatrical scenes, wrote poems and songs, drew and created with their hands — and in each one, their soul, personal view of the world, and creativity, which cannot be measured by grades or ratings, were revealed.
The Grand Prix was awarded to Svitlana Telitsyna from the Kramatorsk Higher Professional Trade and Culinary School in the "Conversational Genre" category. Some participants also received a special award, "Soul that Nurtures the Future," for "Original Poem" and "Original Song." These awards highlighted the sincerity and depth of the creativity of teachers who share their feelings and imagination without any restrictions.
The true richness of the "Pedagogical Pearls of Donetsk Region" festival lies in the fact that each participant left a piece of themselves here, and the audience received inspiration and faith that creativity lives in everyone who dares to show it.
