A pension ID can now be issued in electronic form. This convenient digital alternative to a paper or plastic card will always be available in the Diia app. The digital document has the same legal validity and confirms the fact that a pension has been assigned.
📝 What do you need to prepare?
To successfully apply for an e-pension ID online, you will need scanned copies or clear photos of the following documents:
▫️ passport and tax identification number (TIN);
▫️ a color photo taken within the last 6 months on a light background (the face should occupy 70–80% of the image);
▫️ a handwritten signature in black ink on a white sheet (in .jpg format).
💻 How to apply?
Log in to the web portal of the Pension Fund of Ukraine: https://portal.pfu.gov.ua/ and follow the instructions provided there.
📲 How to find your pension ID in Diia?
If you receive an old-age pension, your pension ID will appear in Diia automatically.
✅ If you receive other types of pensions (disability, years of service, survivor’s pension, etc.), you need to add the document manually.

scroll through your documents in Diia ➡️ tap “Add document” ➡️ select “Pension ID”.
