The Sheptytskyi People’s House hosted the concert “Ukraine Is Us,” which was joined by internally displaced persons from the Donetsk region as part of the national project “Side by Side: United Communities.”
Artistic groups presented a concert program featuring Ukrainian songs and dances, introducing the audience to national traditions and the richness of Ukrainian art. The audience supported the performers with applause, and those who wished could make voluntary donations to support important initiatives.
“Ukrainian culture unites people regardless of where they currently live. Our history is preserved in songs, dances, and folk traditions—and these are what help us remain united even when we are far from home. Events like this allow us to share our creativity, support one another, and get to know the cultural life of Sheptytsky,” said Dmytro Shynkar, head of the “Yednannia” Humanitarian Hub at the Pokrovsk Military Administration in Sheptytsky.
