As part of the “Side by Side: United Communities” initiative, a group of 24 internally displaced persons currently registered at the “Yednannia” humanitarian hub in Khust took an educational and wellness trip to the thermal springs in Berehove.
Together with the hub’s director, Viktor Hrytsak, the trip participants had a wonderful opportunity to get a change of scenery, improve their health, and simply socialize in an informal atmosphere. Such events are not just about relaxation, but also about psychological relief and the feeling that you are not alone in a foreign city.
“We strive to ensure that everyone who comes to our hub feels supported not only through food or supplies, but also through attention to their emotional well-being. This trip was a real breath of fresh air for our people,” noted Viktor Hrytsak.
