The beginning of the school year was special for little Donetsk residents who are starting their school journey in the educational institutions of the Bakhmut community. The first-graders, who now live in different parts of Ukraine, received gifts and stationery for their studies.
In Kyiv, Kharkiv, Odesa and Dnipro, the first-graders received the gifts at the educational locations of the Bakhmut Support Center "With Bakhmut in the Heart". Those children who could not come received their gifts by mail.
These school kits are a sign of care, unity and support. After all, wherever our children are, Donetsk region is always there, in the heart of each of us. The children's smiles on this day reminded us that even in the most difficult times there is room for joy and hope.
Presenting the gifts to the first-graders, Oleksiy Reva, Head of the Bakhmut City Military Administration, wished them a peaceful, bright and successful school year. We believe that our children will definitely return to their desks in their hometowns under peaceful skies.
