Businesses that support the agricultural sector are eligible for financial assistance for recovery

Published 31 March 2026 year, 13:31

Mercy Corps’ Ukraine Agricultural Support Program (UASP) provides assistance not only to farmers but also to businesses that ensure the stable operation of the agricultural sector and have been affected by the war.

These are businesses without which agricultural production would be impossible—ranging from equipment repair to the production of fertilizers, feed, and veterinary services.

Businesses operating in the following areas are eligible to apply:

  • repair and maintenance of agricultural machinery,
  • production and mixing of feed,
  • production of organic and mineral fertilizers,
  • production of spare parts and components for agricultural machinery,
  • veterinary services and products,
  • repair and production of irrigation equipment,
  • production of greenhouses and beekeeping equipment, etc.

Over the course of more than two years of the program’s implementation, Mercy Corps has already supported over 1,900 small farmers and 222 small and medium-sized agribusinesses, conducted training for 878 women farmers, and provided more than 4,000 consultations.

You can learn more about all types of support available under the program on the official website  https://uasp.mercycorps.org/

To participate in the program, you must register on the website, select the component that corresponds to your business, and submit an application.

The program is implemented in the Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Kirovohrad, Kyiv, Mykolaiv, Odesa, Poltava, Sumy, Kharkiv, Kherson, Cherkasy, and Chernihiv regions (with the exception of areas where active hostilities are ongoing, as well as areas with restricted access or high risks to life and business operations).
