Support for Business After Relocation

Published 14 May 2026 year, 18:25

When life forces people to leave their homes and start over, it is especially important to meet those who are ready to support them, help them regain confidence, and open new opportunities. Such stories are being made possible today through cooperation between businesses and the Employment Service.

Recently, specialists from the Dobropillia Office of the Pokrovsk Branch of the Donetsk Regional Employment Center met with entrepreneur Iryna Ivanova, who, after being forced to relocate from Dobropillia to Odesa, did not give up. Instead, she managed to establish a new business and create opportunities for others.

In Odesa, Ms. Iryna opened a cozy café and turned to the Donetsk Employment Service for assistance in recruiting staff. Employment Service specialists helped fill vacancies, informed her about state support programs for employers, and provided консультації regarding compensation mechanisms.

Thanks to this cooperation, two displaced persons from Donetsk region found jobs. A woman from Bilytske now works as a barista, while a resident of Novoekonomichne was employed as a cook. For them, this is not just employment, but an opportunity to regain stability, restore confidence in the future, and build a new life.

The employer also took advantage of the state program providing compensation for labor costs related to the employment of internally displaced persons in accordance with Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 696.
