On May 14, as part of the regional platform “Dialogue Between Government and Business,” established at the behest of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, an online meeting was held to discuss pension provision in 2026.
Over 160 representatives of business and government agencies in the Donetsk region participated in the event.
During the dialogue, participants discussed the conditions for granting old-age pensions in 2026, the procedure for recalculating pensionable service and wages in accordance with the law, as well as the specifics of automatic pension recalculation.
Representatives of the Main Directorate of the Pension Fund of Ukraine in Donetsk Oblast explained the requirements for insurance service, the list of documents required for pension eligibility, and the mechanism for crediting service. Special attention was given to the indexation of pension and insurance payments in 2026, compensation payments for individuals aged 70 and older, as well as the automatic recalculation of pensions for working retirees.
Participants also received answers to pressing questions regarding the verification of work experience, the submission of documents, and the recalculation of benefits in the absence of original documents.
