Support that leads to change: Marina’s employment story from Sloviansk

Published 09 April 2026 year, 09:52

Marina Khlynina from the city of Sloviansk was already familiar with the employment service — it was not her first time seeking assistance. By profession, she is a grocery store salesperson, but she has a diverse work background, including positions as a social worker, clerk, secretary, and gas utility inspector. Behind this experience stand responsibility, perseverance, and a strong willingness to work.

When she turned to the employment center, she was not just looking for a job — she was looking for support. A career advisor guided Marina throughout the entire process, from selecting vacancies to participating in events and consultations. She actively used every opportunity, reviewed job offers, and never lost faith in herself.

However, the most difficult decision was different — due to the security situation, she had to leave her hometown. After relocating to Dnipro, Marina and her career advisor continued the job search in her new place of residence.

A suitable vacancy was quickly found for her — a water supply inspector at the municipal enterprise “Dniprovodokanal” of the Dnipro City Council. An interview, some волнения — and success. Marina got the job.

“The hardest thing is making the right decision. But when you feel support, even the most difficult path becomes easier,” Marina shares.
